Before starting any project, it’s important to sit down together and work out exactly what’s needed. This avoids wasted time, surprise costs, or building something that doesn’t really fit.
Together, we will have a structured session designed to understand your business, your goals, and the systems you currently use. We’ll map out what’s working well, where there are gaps, and how technology could help. This scoping session gives both sides a clear plan and makes sure everyone is on the same page.
The outcome of the session is a clear roadmap: what services are most relevant, how long they’ll take, and what they’ll cost. Whether we move forward together on a project or not, this document is yours to keep and implement however you choose.
What’s included
Initial consultation – A proper conversation about your goals and challenges. This is a discussion of business goals, challenges, and priorities.
Systems review – A look at the systems you already use and where they may be falling short. It is an assessment of current tools, systems, and processes.
Opportunities analysis – Simple, practical suggestions for improvements. Together, we will identify some quick wins and weigh them up against longer‑term projects.
Roadmap creation – Afterwards, I will follow up with a written plan showing what work is needed, how long it will take, and what it will cost. It is a plan tailored to you based on our session with recommended services, as well as predicted timelines and costs.
Cost
The cost of a scoping session is dependent on the size of your business and what you want to cover. This isn’t a sales chat — it’s real work. Afterwards, you will have a clear plan you can use, even if you decide not to continue. Paying for the session means it’s taken seriously, and you get something of lasting value.
If you do go ahead with a project after the session, the fee isn’t wasted. The cost will be credited against the first project invoice.
